Environment-friendly material (paper, wood, stone, cloth, leaves, etc.) and 100% organic dyes & adhesives are used to make these handicrafts.

How do the organic dyes compare with the chemical dyes?
Unlike the inorganic dyes, the organic dyes do not harm the environment or the user during either preparation or use. They are bright and shiny. These dyes do not contain strong odor like chemical dyes and last for several decades. Organic dyes do not fade, chip, or wither over the years.

How do I maintain the handicrafts?
The cultural art forms by Store Utsav are delivered in traditional mediums, such as earthenware, glass, dried palm leaves, wood, clothes, etc. This makes these artifacts quite vulnerable to damage. As a general guideline, each item should be protected from excess heat, dampness, physical impact, and direct sunlight. Keeping the items covered, like getting the paintings (including the talapatachitras) framed or putting the display pieces in glass cases are some other ways of preserving these stunning pieces. Regularly clean them with soft, dry cloth. 

How do you sell your products?
We sell our products at our online shops at different destinations. You can buy from your convenient location and get the items delivered at your preferred address.

Do you drop ship?
No. We are the manufacturers and the sellers of the listed products. All the items are stored in our warehouse and dispatched against the confirmed orders. Each item listed as 'in stock' is present physically with us.

If you ever go to Bhubaneswar (capital of the Indian state of Odisha), do make it a point to drop at Pipili, also known as Pipli. Located 36kms from Puri and 20 kms from Bhubaneswar, this small picturesque village is situated on the main road connecting Puri to Bhubaneswar. The region is known for its stunning applique work called Chandua. Almost every family of the town is engaged in the Pipli craft and earns its living through it. The applique work technique of cutting the fabrics and stitching onto the bigger ones is standard. The Pipili distinction involves embroidering and mirror work to form the designs on Chandua.
